mmMost young women these days, are not comfortable with their body image, but what all of us just need to do is realize that it's not about what you look like it's about the way you act. Beauty has always been looked at from the outside, when it really should be looked at within. The color of your hair, the shape of your eyes, the form of your body and the way you carry clothes are the definitions of beauty in the society today, especially in western culture. Beauty has not been seen beyond the physical attraction of a woman. It is seen far from personality and how a person acts. It shouldn't matter how expensive the clothes are, as long as you feel beautiful while representing the style. The real question comes from what makes those clothes look so good on you.

mmWe all look at the fashion designers in the world and how they've created such a beautiful piece of art. What do you think makes you so beautiful because you're wearing a masterpiece of a designer? Well, the answer comes from YOU. How you carry the clothes doesn't matter as much as how good you feel while wearing it and being who you are while wearing it.

mmIn the definitions of society today, especially in the U.S., beauty reveals its counter cultures in how it carries the views and expressions of beauty. There are the typical looks of: Punk, tattoo, Urban, hip hop, rap, Latin and many more. There's always that saying of, "Oh, she looks preppy," or "She has the bohemian look".

These are things that you would only most typically see in the United States

mmFor example, in the television sitcom "Ugly Betty", a young woman is faced through hardships in life while supporting her family, living in New York, and working for a fashion magazine. Her attractiveness is judged by the way she lives in the society and how she carries her clothes, rather than what she does as a person to represent the U.S. culture through fashion.

"Cute" is the future for Japanese fashion

mmHowever, in China, India or Japan, fashion isn't seen from beauty on the outside, but rather how the expression of the person is seen from the inside. As Shin Akamatsu, president of beach apparel maker Alba Rosa says, "We have the potential to make Japanese fashion as big as our cars, electronics and animation across the world. "Cute" is the future for Japanese fashion". It's kind of like how things are seen beyond physical beauty. Akamatsu feels that Japanese fashion can represent expression of internal beauty.

Today, fashion is really about sensuality-how a woman feels on the inside

mmIn the '80s women used suits with exaggerated shoulders and waists to make a strong impression. Women are now more comfortable with themselves and their bodies-they no longer feel the need to hide behind their clothes. Donna Karan American Fashion has definitely changed throughout the years. Beauty shall no longer be seen through a physical body. It just all depends on the people of the society and how they cultivate fashion through beauty and what comes from the inside.

Beauty comes from within

mmNo one appreciates a gorgeous, attractive woman with a bad personality and attitude. You'll look gorgeous in whatever you wear, as long as you represent yourself. As the legendary actress Audrey Hepburn once said;

“For attractive lips, speak words of kindness,
for lovely eyes, seek out the good in people,
for a slim figure, share your food with the hungry”
